How many types for Air Filter?

There are five types of air filters: coarse-efficiency filters, medium-efficiency filters, medium-high-efficiency filters, sub-high-efficiency filters, high- efficiency filters. An air filter is a kind of air filter device.

The primary structural materials of the coarse filter are carbon steel, low alloy steel, or stainless steel, which are represented by codes C, M, and S respectively. The coarse filter is installed on the inlet of the pump, compressor, or pipeline before the flow meter.

The medium-efficiency filter belongs to the F series filter in the air filter. F series medium efficiency air filters are divided into two types: bag type and non-bag type, among which the bag type includes F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, and the non-bag type includes FB (plate type medium efficiency filter), FS (partition type medium efficiency filter) efficient filter), FV (combined medium-efficiency filter).

The main control parameters for selecting medium- high-efficiency air filter products are filtration efficiency, rated air volume, initial resistance at rated air volume, dust holding capacity, and external dimensions. According to the method specified in JG/T22-1999 “Performance Test Method of Air Filters for General Ventilation”, the air dust counting efficiency of particles with particle size ≥1.0μm is ≥70% and <99%. The filter is a high-efficiency air filter.

The sub-high-efficiency filter uses ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper or polypropylene filter paper as the filter material, which is densely folded. The sub-high-efficiency filter uses ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper or polypropylene filter paper as the filter material, which is densely folded. The densely folded filter paper is made of paper partitions or aluminum foil partitions with small plug-in intervals to maintain smooth passages. The outer frame is made of galvanized sheet, stainless steel sheet, or aluminum alloy profile, and is sealed with a new type of polyurethane sealant. It can be widely used in general filtration in electronics, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, food, and other industries, and can also be used in high-temperature places.

The high-efficiency filter is mainly used to capture particulate dust and various suspended solids below 0.5um, as the end filter of various filtration systems. The ultra-fine glass fiber paper is used as the filter material, and the plastic sheet, aluminum foil board, and other materials are folded as the dividing plate, sealed with a new type of polyurethane sealant. The outer frame is made of galvanized sheet, stainless steel sheet, and aluminum alloy profile.

Different types of air filters have different models and applications. Everyone should filter according to the scope they need to use when purchasing. Since the surface of the filter is usually becoming dirty, to prolong its service life, it needs to be cleaned frequently!
